Life has caught up and forced me to take a day off. This is the problem with not being able to stop, on occasion your body will stop for you. That said I have managed to sort through a box of receipts, count my man's loose change into money bags and finish reading a book. All from the safety of my sofa.

I am currently saving my pennies for a technology update. I am hoping it will be like the day I traded in my scratchy chalks for Winsor & Newton soft pastels. Working with something so luxurious makes everything look and feel better, and scratchy chalks would have never got me into art college.

Anyway, a new camera body arrived this week - exciting, and there are a few other shiny goodies I have my eye on. Technology is one of the few areas where I don't do vintage. That and underwear!

I was due to post Lillian's creamy photographs in early January, but there was something about the snow, mixed with the time of year, which didn't quite fit. However today the fit feels just right. Lillian reminds me of my friend Alex and for this reason, despite having never met, I feel like we are friends.

For more please visit Lillian's blogtumbler and Flickr. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  2. Stunning pictures. Just had to take peek at some older posts too and picked up lots of ideas of how to display some of the toys and bits I have collected. Thanks for popping by my blog and the lovely comment and hope you have a good weekend and start the new week refreshed. Jenny.
