I moved to Oxford in 1993, and despite a four year hiatus in Chelsea, it is still the city I have spent most of my life in. I have resided in a damp red brick Victorian terrace on James Street, a grand three story town house on Divinity Road, a shabby semi detached property on Magdalen Road - with a mouse, and a quaint 1930's house on Cornwallis Road, with parquet floors and a pantry. In fact I have lived at eight different Oxford addresses, all in OX4, because nowhere else feels quite like home.
On the edge of Cowley, nestled between Iffley Road and the Isis, is the beautifully picturesque village of Iffley. I dream of living there, and when I do I will have a traditional wood clad bungalow, with a white picket fence, a dainty porch and an old wood rocking chair - where my Dad will play bluegrass on his banjo when he comes to visit.

I love that first sunny shot of you and the roof with chimney stacks particularly draws me. I lived on Charles Street for a time and we used to walk up to Iffley lock and stop for a drink at the pub along the river. And we were married in Iffley:-) Might be time for to revisit!
